Children begin becoming more independent at this age, which makes understanding basic safety an essential life skill. Public Safety & Personal Safety teaches children how to recognize common dangers, make safe choices, protect themselves and others, and know when and how to ask for help.
Through stories, games, role-play and practical situations, children learn what is safe to touch, what should be avoided, what to do during an emergency, how to respond if they become separated from their family, and how to react when approached by someone they do not know.
The goal is not to make children afraid of the world, but to help them develop awareness, calmness, confidence and safe habits.
